3 Reasons to Choose Synthetic Carpet Instead of Wool

We love wool carpets. But there are some reasons to skip wool in favor of synthetic fibers.

When Designers Should Consider Synthetic Carpets

The whitest carpets, the softest carpets and the most stain-resistant carpets are all made of materials like nylon and polyester.

Wool carpets are at the pinnacle of our business. But there are 3 aspects of wool that pale in comparison to synthetic fiber.

#1: You can almost not find a pure white wool. That’s because it’s almost impossible to find a pure white sheep.

#2: Wool, although soil resistant, it doesn’t have the same kind of stain resistance that synthetic carpet has.

#3: Believe it or not, wool is not the softest fiber. There are synthetic fibers today that are much softer and have a much more luxurious feel than wool.

There are a lot of reasons to sell and show wool carpets. We just simply want to state that if someone wants the whitest fiber, or the softest fiber, or the most stain-resistant fiber, they’ll want to consider synthetic carpets for those use cases.
